Edgar Chiu is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taipei, a Venture Capital with Accelerator arm to help local entrepreneurs go international. The mentorship-driven program targets startups in IoT (Internet of Things), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, VR/AR, mobile application, fintech, e-commerce, digital healthcare, cybersecurity, industrial automation, and other verticals. He was previously the founding COO of Gogolook, developing partnerships in Japan, Korea, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia for the Whoscall app, a global caller ID service. Gogolook was subsequently acquired by Naver, South Korean Internet giant in 2013. Before Gogolook, Edgar worked at IBM Global Business Services as a management consultant and HP Global Procurement Services as a buyer planner.

Edgar is also the co-founder of Jumpstart Global, a talent acceleration program, cultivating over 200 entrepreneurial leaders for high-growing organizations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University.
