Tinacho is the Director of Development at African Leadership Academy (ALA). The Academy seeks to transform Africa by developing a powerful network of over 6,000 leaders who will work together to address Africa’s greatest challenges, achieve extraordinary social impact, and accelerate the continent’s growth trajectory.
Through a two year residential program based in Johannesburg, South Africa young leaders start their journey with ALA with a curriculum anchored in Entrepreneurial Leadership and African Studies as they prepare for a lifetime of impact.
To date, the Academy has groomed over 1,000 leaders from 46 African countries. Tinacho has spent the last 8 years playing a leading role in identifying Africa’s highest potential teenagers competing for a place at the Academy. Recently, he has transitioned from the Admissions office to lead development, as the Academy enters its second decade of operation.
