She is a graduate at the University of Dar es Salaam in the field of Computer Science. She was employed by the University of the Dar es Salaam Computing Centre where she was leading the Consultancy Unit at the centre for more than 5 years. She has also executed projects successfully as a consultant such as Bank of Tanzania, Tanzania National Park, Tanzania National Roads, Vocational Education and Training Authority, Tanzania Revenue Authority and President’s Office – Public Service Management.

She was involved in the execution of the Tanzania Data Lab project from March 2016 to June 2018. Her main role was to promote engagement of all the stakeholders in the Data movement in order to realize the promises of data in Tanzania in terms of social and economic development, transparency and citizen engagement. She has experience in organizing and conducting the round table discussions with various stakeholders, organizing mapathon events. She also has the experience of organizing and conducting International events such as Open Data Day, Open Access, Youth day, Women’s day etc.
