I am founder of Future for Work Institute (www.futureforwork.com), an independent observatory of the future of work and people management. I am also Managing Director of the iOpener Institute for People and Performance (www.iopenerinstitute.com) in the Iberian Peninsula.
A former HR director with more than 15 years of front line experience in a variety of industries, geographies, and business situations, I add to that 10 years experience in human capital and organisational development consulting. I am also a regular keynote speaker, and a guest lecturer at different universities and business schools.
I authored the book “El arte de dirigir personas hoy” (2016), and coauthored “El ocaso del empleo” (2013). Since 2006 I write in my blog www.santigarcia.net on “the art (and science) of managing people in a networked world”. I am also one of the hosts of the podcast on emerging trends in the world of work Futuro del Trabajo (www.futureforwork.com/pocasts).
I hold a Law Degree from the University of Navarra, an MBA from IESE Business School, and took pre-doctoral studies on Industrial Organisation at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
