Pilar Zambrano is an Investor in Jaguar Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm focused on digital-focused companies in Latin America. As part of her responsibilities, Pilar leads the relationship with investors and entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining the Jaguar team, Pilar founded Atelán Brands and Editorial Store, retail companies focused on local luxury brands. She also created a space in Polanco for its promotion, through events and workshops, called Editorial House.

She is currently part of the Board of Directors of Metalsa, a world leader in the manufacturer of structural components for the automotive industry. Prior to this, she served as a member of Citrofrut Directors Board.

Pilar actively participates as a mentor for the Zaber Foundation, an NGO that awards scholarships for students with high academic performance and low economic resources.

Pilar has a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain
