Peter Ndichu

Senior Engagement Manager, GSMA






Peter is a Senior Engagement Manager for the GSMA Ecosystem Accelerator programme and is based in Nairobi, Kenya. He supports the Innovation Fund in portfolio management, startup pipeline development (including fund outreach to stakeholders, due diligence planning and execution for potential portfolio companies), and mentorship of portfolio startups. In addition, Peter supports mobile operators in emerging markets to develop start-up friendly strategies while promoting robust partnership between startups and mobile operators.

Since 2013, Peter has supported the Mobile for Development team at GSMA in various roles at the intersection of mobile technology and entrepreneurship across emerging markets. Prior to joining Mobile for Development Peter was a consultant at CGAP, an independent entity housed at World Bank, where he developed business intelligence tools for renewable energy companies across Africa.

Peter holds a degree in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Chinese Studies from New York University and is currently pursuing his CFA charter.
