Paulo Lourenção got his Doctoral Degree in Aerospace Sciences from INPE – National Institute Space Research & DLR – German Aerospace Center in 1988. He got his B.Eng. and M. Sc. Degrees from ITA – Aeronautics Institute of Technology in 1977 and 1981 respectively. In 2003 he got his MBA from University of Sao Paulo in the area of Management of Knowledge, Technology and Innovation. Since 2007 works as Technical Coordinator for the Engineering Specialization Program at Embraer. Has experience in the areas of Experimental Aerodynamics (Technical Center for Aeronautics: 1975-1980), Dynamics and Control of Aerospace Vehicles (Space Research Institute: 1980-1986), Advanced Training of Engineers (Embraer: 1989-1996) and Institutional Liaison for pre-competitive Technology Development (Embraer: 1998-2007). He has also acted as Invited Lecturer for Brazilian Universities: USP, UNICAMP, ITA and FGV among others.
