Pauke Corstens started her career at Bain & Company in the Netherlands. She worked at more traditional retailers such as the Gap, in merchandising and inventory management, and was Head of Commercial Development for Argos in the UK in which capacity she was responsible for the online exclusive assortment and the Irish business of Argos. In addition, she worked for young internet companies. She was Director of Operations and Logistics for Groupon in EMEA and worked for GraphScience in San Francisco.
Her first job at Walmart was designing the merchandising strategy and floor plan for the supercenter of the future. In the summer of July 2016 she moved to Mexico with her family where she first led transformation of fresh before taking on the strategy role and lead Walmex’ digital transformation.
In this role Pauke spearheaded the launch of the digital factory, agile squads and agile community to make the Walmart Mexico, the largest private employer in Mexico, future proof. Since July 2018, she is the GM / VP of Home Improvement @ Walmart.com.
Pauke and her husband Philip Behn with their two toddler sons live in San Francisco. They enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
