Nicola is a profound emerging technology and digital transformation expert. In 2000 he joined IBM where he held different Italian and EMEA roles: among others, he has been Director of Human-Centric Solution Center and head of IBM Italy Communication Center of Excellence. Within his career in IBM, he developed his knowledge and skills on leveraging emerging technologies to improve the quality of life of older adults. In 2015 he joined IBM Research where today he serves as Global Manager AI for Healthy Aging within the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is the co-founder of Tag Innovation School, the education platform of Tag, the most significant European co-working network; he is a founding board member of Amazing.Community, based in NY dedicated to transforming the false narrative about aging women by redefining workplace inclusion, one woman at a time. Nicola is also the author of three books, a TedX speaker and an international lecturer in aging, innovation and digital transformation. He serves as Board Member of International Scientific Advisory Committee at McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA), at GIMI (Global Management Innovation Institute). He is Adjunct Professor in Social Communications at Università Cattolica of Milan.
