Muska Ulhaq manages the education and engagement practice at the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing, and helps grow a portfolio of educational offerings and stakeholders from all sectors—public servants, investors, social enterprises and ventures, philanthropists, financial advisors—all looking to better understand how to embrace impact investing and social finance. Muska also leads the annual Social Finance Forum, Canada’s largest gathering of impact investors and social entrepreneurs and one of the world’s most preeminent impact investing conferences. In this role she manages the sponsorships, speaker and partnership engagement, communications and marketing, as well as content curation and programming. Prior to joining MaRS, she worked as a Policy and Research Analyst with Humber Bay Shores Condominium Association and as a Policy Analyst with the Ontario Ministry of Revenue. Muska has a master’s degree in public policy from University of Toronto’s School of Public Policy and Governance, and an undergraduate degree in political studies and psychology from Queen’s University.
