Professional Backgroud: More than 20 years of experience on financial sector, economic regulation and monetary policy. 12 years in top level position in the Mexican public sector as General Director of Payment Systemas and Corporate Services at the Central Bank of Mexico, Undersecretary of Industry and Commerce and Chief of the Unit of Insurance and Pensions at the Minsitry of Finance in Mexico. Currently leading projects on payments in financial institutions and in corporations in other sectors, as well as leading compliance and risks initiatives in the banking sector Education: Lorenza Martínez obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
