Ms. Lan Shi is the founder and CEO of Y-CITY Global Innovation Academy and the co-chair of Hyde Capital. She is also the founder of spaceyun, executive secretary-in-general of China Education 30 Forum, and the President of MIT Club of Shanghai.
Y-CITY is a leading academy and accelerator focusing on emerging technologies such as AI, FinTech, big data, and future mobility in China and overseas. Its provides coaches, space, trainings, network, marketing support, and accelerator programs. Strong network and eco-system with startups, academia, investors, government, and entrepreneurial community.
She is experienced and resourceful in venture capital, technology, consulting and education sectors. She was the Partner at Cybernaut (China) Investment, and had worked for HP, Hewitt, and Towers Perrin as consulting manager and director. She has helped many start-up and growth-stage companies to define the business model, build up organization structure, develop customers, and go to the capital markets.
Lan is a CFA. She received a bachelor degree in marketing from Fudan University in China, and a Master of Engineering degree from MIT. Lan is a Fellow of the Aspen China Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
