Kate enjoys working at the intersection of advertising, technology, artificial intelligence, and creativity. She has lived and worked on three continents, and studied five languages as part of a Linguistics B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Kate also received an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Kate has spent the past seven years working with Essence and its clients on challenges related to strategy, growth and innovation. Her interest in future trends and competitive strategy fuel her long and ever-growing reading list.

Passionate about opportunities for women and girls in STEAM fields – Kate serves on the board of Career Girls, a non-profit which helps close the imagination gap for girls around the world by providing access to diverse role models (via 11,000 video clips) and career path guidance.

The MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge to become Economic Prosperity Challenge in 2020
