Esther is a young female passionate about impact investment, entrepreneurship & innovation. Helping spur change in the Kenyan and regional ecosystem, one start-up at a time as the Head of Community, Memberships & Operations at Mettā Nairobi (Nest Group Africa). Nest Group Global has built an innovation ecosystem to connect the fast-growing markets of Asia, the Middle East, and Africa which operates, invests in seed to growth-stage startups, and runs an entrepreneurial community called Mettā. She manages and has grown their community to 400+ members including startups, entreprenuers, invetsors, governments and experts in a fast growing ecosystem of high-impact innovators and collaborators in Africa. This unique blend of a community comes from her belief that to achieve success, impact and innovation, networks and linkages is needed as an intentional role. This has also seen her lead community-focused learning sessions at Mettā from Masterclasses to Roundtables, creating an environment of experiential learning and active collaboration for their community. Leading and working with the team in running sector agnostic corporate accelerator programmes with corporates and development agencies such as Visa, Barclays, MTN, WorldBank & Hivos. This has seen their successful startups achieve commercialization & scale from Fintech to the Creative space.
