Dinaro is Head of Innovation and Partnerships at Interac.
He was most recently at MaRS Discovery District, North America’s largest urban innovation hub as Director of Fintech Innovation and Partnerships. While there
Dinaro and his team helped build Canada’s first fintech practice while expanding MaRS’ financial services partner network. He provided leadership and support to all
of MaRS’ financial services partners. He brings deep experience in digital payments, marketing, partnerships and business development across multiple
verticals. Prior to MaRS, Dinaro was Director of Market Development and
Partnerships at MasterCard Canada, where he was responsible for driving the company’s acceptance strategy for emerging payments and strategic alliances with large-scale retailers, FI’s and service providers. Prior to MasterCard, Dinaro led business development and partnerships at
RedFlagDeals.com, a deal content venture (acquired by The Yellow Pages Group). Lastly, he oversaw the marketing strategy, spend and performance metrics of Dell
Canada’s consumer and small business products. He currently sits on the board of ACT Canada and advises two tech startups in the health and financial sector.
