Founder and President, Education for SharingLatin America
Dina is a Mexican social entrepreneur who founded Education for Sharing (E4S) in 2007. Today, E4S operates in seven countries. E4S uses a rigorously evaluated methodology to form better citizens during childhood using the power of play. Since E4S´s inception, over 900,000 individuals have benefited from programs including project management, sports, science, and arts for children ages 6 to 13 plus education for their caregivers and teachers. Operating in public, private, and charter schools as well as in indigenous shelters and community centers, E4S has partnered with foundations, public and private sector to achieve its goals. E4S uses social and emotional learning techniques. Every session combines fun and creative games that foster pride in identity and responsibility, and prompt children to reflect on global challenges and civic values, including the UN’s SDGs.
Dina is a fellow of: Ashoka, Edmund Hillary Fellowship, Schusterman, a Vital Voices, and a WEF Global Shaper. She is a Hubert Humphrey Fellow in Urban Planning at MIT, and holds a MPA by the Harvard Kennedy School.
