Cikü Mugambi

Cikü Mugambi is part of the Venture Capital team at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, based in Lagos, Nigeria. IFC has invested over US$1 billion in venture capital investments in companies across various sectors. Investments in Africa include Africa’s Talking, Twiga Foods, Kobo360, TIDE Africa Fund, Partech Ventures, among others. She has over eight years’ experience spanning several roles in Venture Capital, Corporate Finance/ Private Equity, and Audit.

Prior to the IFC, Cikü was a Manager in the Corporate Finance team at KPMG leading private equity transaction advisory in Eastern Africa.

Cikü has an MBA from Strathmore Business School/IESE and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi. She is a mentor on Google Launchpad Accelerator programme, Business Daily’s Top 40 under 40 Women (2017) and is really passionate about technology’s role in addressing Africa’s developmental challenges.
