Chipo N. Ngongoni is a versatile Electronic engineer that has a passion for Industry-University relations with a focus on the creation of innovative entrepreneurial environments. Educationally, she has a MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and a Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Oslo in Norway. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate and researcher in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Stellenbosch University. Her current work looks at the role of innovation intermediaries and digital platforms in the healthcare innovation ecosystem. Chipo’s research interests are in management of innovation, complex adaptive systems, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems and value co-creation. Professionally, she has worked as a Management Consultant, ICT Research Analyst, Process Engineer and most recently a Researcher. This has enabled her to be involved in projects such as strategic technology mapping and trends across Africa and consulting on open innovation platform development.
