Brenna Nan Schneider is the Founder and CEO of 99Degrees, a US-based performance activewear and wearable technology manufacturer. Brenna’s vision to transform apparel into an advanced manufacturing industry is inspired by her drive to create jobs today that will become the innovation economy careers of the future. This model has won top prizes at Mass Challenge, EforAll, and MIT’s Inclusive Innovation Competition. Boston Magazine named 99Degrees an idea that is changing the way we live, work, and play. Brenna’s career has spanned the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She was formerly VP, Operations of a US apparel manufacturing startup and a Clinton Fellow in India’s textile industry. Brenna has a B.A. in International Studies and Economics from Washington College and an MBA in Social Impact Management from Brandeis University’s Heller School. She is a passionate thought leader on US manufacturing, inclusive innovation, and women-led business.
