Benjamin Jen is the Founder and Managing Partner of GRC Venture Fund. In addition to entrepreneurship and fund management, his area of expertise also includes corporate strategy, business development, product marketing, and technology management. Prior to founding GRC, Benjamin has worked for Quanta Group (TWSE 2382) for over 12 years as the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Head of Corporate Investment. He has also been the GM of Gintech Energy (TWSE 3514), Vice Chairman of Danen Technology (TWSE 3686), and Chairman of the Board of CNano Technology.
Benjamin lectures at the National Taiwan University’s EMBA EIA (Entrepreneurship in Action) Program. He is also a mentor of startup accelerators B2MC (Bridge to MassChallenge) and Taiwan National Development Fund ‘s Angel Investment Initiative.
Benjamin has rich experiences in technology commercialization, fund raising activities, strategic relationship establishment, M&A, and bringing companies to IPO. He was the adviser and Board member of many technology companies and VC firms including AOI (NASDAQ AAOI), Centrillion BioScience in Silicon Valley, and Giza Venture in Israel.
Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Technology Management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He received his Bachelors degree of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
