Antonio Osio Tovar – Managing partner at Capital Invent. Antonio has experience in venture capital, finance, corporate law and economic development. He worked as an associate at FJ Labs, one of the most active early stage VC funds in the US and emerging markets. Antonio continues to advise them on their investments in Latin America. He also worked as an associate in the venture capital division of the Legatum Group based in Dubai. Previously, he was a senior analyst at Sabino Capital, a Mexico-based hedge fund; he was an economic development consultant at the Public Policy Office of the Presidency and worked at the law firm Barrera, Siqueiros and Torres Landa. Antonio graduated from ITAM with honors in Law and Economics, and has an MBA from MIT Sloan. He is a member of the Kauffman Fellows Program, is a Legatum Fellow of MIT, Schusterman Fellow, and a founding member of Demeter, a support network for entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
