Alba is a serial entrepreneur and an investor in global start-ups. She is a passionate advocate for women and girls worldwide and an active member of over 10 national and international boards. As a hobby, she enjoys blogging about women’s empowerment, speaking at conferences about gender equality and entrepreneurship and helping young women thrive.

Alba holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Mexico and an Masters in Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in USA. She has held several positions in the financial sector, primarily in the area of investment banking.
She is a jury of the “Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards”, was selected as a “Rising Talent” (women under 35 changing the world) by the Women’s Forum for Economy & Society, and in 2016 she received the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award by the Chamber of Commerce of the city of Guadalajara.
