Mr. Rios is a Founding Partner of BPBI, which he incorporated in December 2015. BPBI is a Multi-Client Family Office with wealth management and private equity operations.
Mr. Rios is a professional with more than 30 years of experience conducting investments and advising ultra-high net worth individuals, families, global entities, corporates and Latin American sovereign governments on cross-border investments, mergers, privatizations, restructurings and capital raising transactions.
Prior to incorporating BPBI, from 2009 through 2015, Mr. Rios was a Founding and Managing Partner of Alfaro, Dávila y Rios (“ADR”), a financial advisory firm specialized in mergers, acquisitions, financial restructurings and debt & equity advisory. Previously, Mr. Rios was a Managing Partner of Axis Capital Management, a structured investment platform targeting the oil and gas services sector in Mexico. From August 2003 until January 2008, Mr. Rios was head of Rothschild‘s activities in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean Pact region and before that, he was head of Citigroup Global Market‘s Latin America M&A Group (1998-2003).
Mr. Rios has been a guest lecturer at ITAM‘s business school.
Mr. Rios holds an MBA from Stanford GSB and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Universidad de las America-Puebla.
